Mineola’s Downtown Revitalization Program

Mineola’s Downtown Revitalization program is underway and intended to bring more pedestrians into the Village while at the same time reducing vehicular traffic. The addition of the rental complexes known as Hudson 140, The Hudson House and the development replacing the former Keyspan Building will add more than six hundred new apartments to the Village of Mineola and greatly improve its vitality and economy. Many towns in the US are moving in this direction. This paradigm shift is having a significant beneficial impact on our environment and helps to improve people's quality of life. Downtowns are beginning to take shape as the centers for social and business community activity.
